Kindergarten

Parents are requested to complete and Application for Enrolment and return it to school during the year prior to starting Kindergarten.  Forms may be obtained from the school office.  These forms should be returned as early as possible to facilitate class planning for the following year.
Proof of age must be produced before a child can be accepted into Kindergarten.  Acceptable documentation that can be produced includes - birth certificate, passport, Baby clinic or hospital card.  In addition, proof of residential address (utilities bill or rates notice etc) will need to be produced as well as a Certificate of Immunisation.  Children without an immunisation certificate may be excluded from school during an outbreak of infectious illness.

Kickstart to Kindergarten Group

Our Starting School group is conducted each year in Terms 3 and 4 in partnership with Connect Child and Family Services.  The Starting School group operates 1 morning per week from 9.30am - 11.30am.  The Starting School sessions are specifically for students who will be attending Kindergarten in the following year.  The activities undertaken are similar to a playgroup, however some sessions are integrated with our current Kindergarten classes to better prepare young children for the step up to primary school.
The Starting School sessions are free of charge.  Children attending bring their hat, morning tea and a drink bottle.  Further details about this year’s Starting School Group are available from the school office.
